Information about the collection and processing of your personal data

 

To provide quality care it is necessary to store certain personal data. We do this in accordance with the European regulations (EU2016/679)/GDPR. We always handle and store your information with safety and care. This privacy statement explains how we use and store this information. We adjust this privacy statement as needed, and recommend you review the privacy statement regularly. This privacy statement was last modified on 3rd May, 2023.

 

This privacy statement applies to all personal data that we process on the domain wanderwellcounseling.be which applies to everyone who has contacted us or visited the website, such as visitors, customers, and business contacts. Personal data is all data that can be traced to you as an individual: your name, telephone number, IP address, customer number or internet surfing behavior.

 

We receive the data directly from you as soon as you enter information on the website.

 

We use the following data:

  • name

  • email address

  • telephone number

 

We only use your personal data for the purpose with which we have obtained your permission to use.

 

We will retain your personal data for as long as we are required to do so by law and for as long as necessary for the purpose for which we use your data. For example, as long as you are a customer with us, we keep your data according to the legal retention period of seven years. Then we only store your data for statistical purposes and to handle any complaints or legal matters.  Your personal data will only be used by us. We will never share personal information with others.

 

We process your data within the European Economic Area (HONOR). This means that we also store your data within the EEA. Do you have questions about this, please feel free to contact us.

We have done a lot to protect your data both organizationally and technically as secure as possible. We have our systems and various means of communication secured to ensure that you

Right to information

Right of access

You can always ask us to view your data that we hold about you.

 

Right to correction

You may ask us to have your data corrected if it is incorrect or incomplete.

 

Right to object

You may object to the processing of your data if you do not agree with the way we handle your personal data. This law applies to the data we use for direct marketing. You can indicate to us that you no longer wish to receive emails from us. That also applies to personalized recommendations on our website.

 

Right to data portability

If you are a client of ours or have you given permission for the use of your data, you may ask us to provide you with the digit to send all data we have from you. This way you can transfer that data to another organization or clinician if you wish.

 

Right to restriction

You may ask us to limit the use of your data. This means that in certain cases we may only store your data but don't use it.

 

Right to be forgotten

You may ask us to delete all data we hold about you. We will then delete all data that can be traced back to you. In some cases, we cannot or may not yet delete your data. We must keep some data for 7 years for the tax authorities.

 

Right to file a complaint

You may submit a complaint about the way we handle your data. If you have a complaint, we will be happy to resolve it for you. Please contact us for this. You may also submit your complaint to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. Of course we hope that it does not come to that but in extreme cases you can also go to court. In that case, it is the jurisdiction of Wander Well that will address your complaint.

Send your request or complaint to us via ash@wanderwellcounseling.be . We’ll process your request or complaint within 30 days. If you have several requests or complaints, or if your request or complaint is complex, this may involve more time. In that case, we will take no later than 60 days to contact you. We may ask you to identify yourself. In that case we request your data to ensure that you are the right person whose personal data is at hand.

 

Which rules apply to this privacy statement?

Our privacy statement must meet several conditions. These conditions can be found in particular in the General Regulation Data Protection. In addition the general rules according to the Dutch law applies to our privacy statement.

You choose which data we may use from you. If you have given us permission to personalize your profile based on of your surfing and search behavior, then we can tailor our website specifically to you to make it easier and more personal to use. We do this using cookies. A cookie is a small text file that placed on your hardware when you visit our website.

 

We use functional cookies on our website, such as session and login cookies for tracking of session and login information. As our website and clinical care is not directed toward minors, if you are under the age of 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian to use our website. When you visit our website as a minor, then we assume that you have this permission before your visit.
